I vacated the room on the night of 31st January itself. Still, the rent for 1st February was deducted from my security deposit. An electricity bill of ₹510 was also deducted, which is fine because that amount is valid. However, I had given the notice period on 1st February, which clearly means that I would complete vacating the room on that date. I had already left the room before that. It is not right to charge rent for the next day after the room has already been vacated. This is unfair.
