Tulja PG is easily one of the most frustrating and restrictive places to live in Ahmedabad. The biggest issue is the absurd level of control over basic living. Electricity usage is so limited that you’re not even allowed to use simple appliances like an iron. Bringing your own cooler isn’t allowed either, but they’ll happily provide one at an extra charge. It honestly feels like you’re paying to live under unnecessary restrictions rather than for comfort. The place operates with completely outdated rules, which makes no sense in a city like Ahmedabad that is rapidly modernizing. Daily life here feels inconvenient and controlled. Maintenance is another major failure. Complaints are ignored, the fridge barely works, hygiene is questionable, and there is no proper pest control. Basic upkeep just doesn’t seem to be a priority. The management structure itself feels inconsistent with what this PG claims to be. For a boys’ PG, the way operations are handled raises questions about clarity, professionalism, and overall management standards. It reflects the same lack of structure you experience in every other aspect here. On top of that, there is zero flexibility with rent. Even genuine situations are not considered, and the process becomes unnecessarily complicated and stressful. Staff behavior only makes things worse—rude, unprofessional, and only responsive when it comes to collecting money. Overall, this place feels less like a PG and more like a setup full of restrictions, poor service, and constant frustration. Avoid if you value basic comfort, flexibility, and peace of mind.
