Room was not up to par, i understand this is supposed to be a no frills accommodation but there is better for similar price points in Delhi, me and my father both struggled to sleep. We left after the first night. I wouldn’t be anywhere near as upset if the beds were more comfortable.

stayed in room 301 Positives: About a 5-7 mins walk from Saket metro station, exit no. 3. Decent upper class residential area & building. The room rates included breakfast & are not too pricey. The bed mattress is quite firm & good for the back & that was a relief since I have a bad back. But others may prefer a softer mattress There were 3-4 towels (bath & h&) available. Lots of clothes hangers in the cupboard & good storage space. There is a common sitting area on the 3rd floor & a balcony too for smoking & watching the neighbourhood goings on. Areas of improvement or shortcomings: was put up on 3rd floor & there wasn’t a lift, so it can be a bit tiring to climb up & down a few times a day. The rounding stairs are tricky, even risky especially in the dark on the diagonal steps, since you can miss the step & fall. They should be having the lights switched on throughout the day on the staircase but they don’t. It would be a simple matter to have movement sensor-based lights on the stairs; not sure why that’s not been done. Its required urgently. The building & the room is a bit old & it shows. The two single beds in the room are quite small in terms of their dimensions; the smallest among the 30-40 hotels I have stayed in, in the past 3-4 years. & this is a big negative for me. It leads to a very disturbed & uncomfortable sleep. Not sure if the beds in all other rooms too are similar. But as a solo male traveller, I am also aware that such people are given the most inconvenient or uncomfortable rooms. Along with the bed size the other big negative is deficient natural light in the room. Although there is a window, it looks out against a wall & the light filtering in from above too in inadequate. I guess this is the state of all other rooms too since this building is sandwiched in between 2 other buildings. These 2 shortcoming are big ones for me personally due to which I doubt I will come here again. Within the room, there was an odd step up near the toilet & that is quite unusual. I stubbed my toe frequently against this change in levels. There are many extraneous switches in the room & toilet ; it takes time to know which switch is used for what purpose. The AC made a loud noise frequently. It works but is an old one. When checking-in, the lady should ideally explain basic stuff of how things work: the AC, the water heater in the toilet etc. She didn’t. The instructions pasted on the back of the room door are a bit contradictory with the info sent over email e.g. breakfast timings, wifi password etc. That should be rectified. Room lights are adequate but a bit harsh on the eyes. The bathroom/toilet does have an unpleasant smell especially in the mornings, possibly sewage related. Toilet lighting is not great, one notices that especially when shaving. The toilet exhaust fan should have a wire mesh on the outside to prevent mosquitoes from coming inside. The toilet is slightly old. Breakfast is provided but am unsure what exactly is offered. The first morning there was besan chilla & egg preparation & toast. Some others at the table were having apple but am not sure if they paid separately for it or if it was for everyone. The next morning it was just eggs & toast. Am confused about the system or whats on offer. On the day I checked-in, I went out for a walk. I returned to find my room door open & a lady with 2 technicians trying to fix the AC. I had not really unpacked & my luggage contents were spread all over the room. I was not even called & asked whether someone could enter my room for fixing the AC. Definitely not good etiquettes. Had I known about this at least I would have kept the luggage contents in the cupboard & not spread out. Observations: there is a small lift that is only for luggage. There are dogs in the neighbourhood which can become a bit aggressive as I experienced, so perhaps one needs to be careful especially when returning late at night. There is a owner’s small dog too who may be walking around on the property, so if you are scared of dogs, you may need to factor that in.

It was very wonderful experience with grace home... very enjoyable stay just like home... Last night, we made Maggi in the kitchen, and the coffee felt just like home. The terrace view was also really beautiful and amazing. ✨🌙 thanks to grace home family

Great stay at Grace home! I recommend. Saket is a really safe district very plaisant close to the métro station, the yellow line. The owner is really atentionate and the breakfast enjoyable. I felt home there when I did my morning yoga in the living room. The terrasse is nice, and all the facilities are provided and more.

One of our favourite bed& breakfasts in India. Great location in a quiet but interesting neighborhood of Delhi, super friendly and welcoming family who owns the place, it truly feels like a home. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious. We would 1000% stay here again.
