I worked with this company as the sole IT resource responsible for supporting all the clients in both Pune and Mumbai locations. My role covered IT support, system administration, networking, vendor coordination, hardware and software troubleshooting, user support, asset management, server room management and day-to-day IT operations. Despite managing responsibilities across multiple locations, I remained committed to my work and consistently supported employees, management, and clients to the best of my ability. Throughout my tenure, I received appreciation and positive feedback from the clients and users I supported in both Pune and Mumbai for my responsiveness, problem-solving abilities, dedication, and commitment to ensuring smooth business operations. The company itself has potential, and my review is not directed at the organization as a whole. My feedback is specifically based on my experience within the IT Department and my reporting structure. One of the biggest challenges during my tenure was my experience working under Mr. Ayub Pasha. As the only IT person handling two major locations, I expected professional guidance, support, and constructive leadership. However, in my personal experience, communication from Mr. Ayub Pasha was often discouraging, disrespectful, and demotivating. Instead of feeling supported for the responsibilities I was managing, I frequently felt undervalued despite my efforts, dedication, and commitment to the organization. There were numerous situations where I had to handle critical issues, user concerns, vendor coordination, networking problems, system administration tasks, and day-to-day IT operations independently. While I always took ownership of my responsibilities without complaint and ensured that business operations continued smoothly, I often felt that support, recognition, and encouragement were lacking. Over time, this had a negative impact on my motivation, confidence, and overall job satisfaction. Despite receiving appreciation from the clients and users I supported, I felt that my contributions were not acknowledged in a meaningful way within the IT Department. This became one of the major reasons behind my decision to leave the organization. In my opinion, the company has strong potential for growth and success. However, I believe that improvements in leadership, communication, employee support, recognition, and accountability within the IT Department could significantly improve employee morale, operational efficiency, and overall service quality. To be fair, I can only speak about my experience within the IT Department. I cannot comment on other departments, teams, or managers, as their experiences may be entirely different. For anyone considering an IT role with this company, I would recommend understanding the reporting structure, management style, expectations, growth opportunities, and support system before joining the IT Department. I am grateful for the experience I gained, the knowledge and skills I developed through my own initiative, and the professional relationships I built with the clients and users I supported during my time with the company. However, based on my personal experience, there is significant room for improvement within the IT Department, particularly in the areas of employee support, communication, recognition, leadership, and professional development. Addressing these areas could help create a more positive work environment, improve employee retention, and strengthen overall service delivery.
